The Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) test measures the level of the ALP enzyme in your blood. This enzyme is found in the liver, bones, and other tissues, and helps break down proteins in the body. Abnormal ALP levels may indicate liver disease, bone disorders, or other medical conditions that require monitoring.
