The Total Bilirubin test measures the total amount of bilirubin in your blood, including both direct (conjugated) and indirect (unconjugated) forms. Bilirubin is produced during the normal breakdown of red blood cells, and abnormal levels may indicate liver, gallbladder, or blood disorders.
