The STD General Panel is a comprehensive screening test that checks for multiple sexually transmitted infections (STIs) from a single visit, helping ensure sexual health and early detection of infections. Why it’s done: To screen for common STIs including chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, and others To support routine sexual health and preventive care To evaluate symptoms such as unusual discharge, pain, or sores To monitor sexual health in high-risk populations To assist in partner notification and treatment planning Specimen Type: Blood draw, urine, and/or swab (depending on panel components) Turnaround Time: Typically 1–5 business days depending on tests Collection Available: In-office or mobile collection services
