The Urine with Microscopic test evaluates urine for cells, crystals, bacteria, and other microscopic elements to help detect infections, kidney problems, or other urinary tract disorders. Why it’s done: To screen for urinary tract infections (UTIs) To evaluate kidney function and detect kidney disease To identify blood cells, bacteria, or crystals in the urine To investigate symptoms such as pain, frequent urination, or blood in the urine To monitor ongoing urinary or metabolic conditions Specimen Type: Urine (clean-catch sample) Turnaround Time: Typically 1 business day Collection Available: In-office sample drop-off or mobile pickup (if applicable)
